- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 small corn or flour tortillas
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt
- Salsa
- Optional toppings: avocado, cilantro, lime wedges
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the chicken cubes, olive oil, taco seasoning, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- While the chicken is cooking, warm the tortillas according to package directions.
- Assemble the tacos: Fill each tortilla with the air fryer chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
- Garnish with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
