- 4 cups mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Combine berries, sugar, flour, lemon juice, and zest in a large bowl. Toss gently.
- Pour berry mixture into the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over the berry mixture.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
