  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed fruit, granulated sugar, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Toss gently to coat.
  3. Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the fruit filling.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
