- Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate or a trifle bowl.nBake the Crust (Optional): For a more stable crust, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely before adding the filling.nMake the Filling: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until well combined.nAdd Flavor: Stir in lemon juice and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.nFold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until just combined.
