- 6 cups mixed fruit (apples, pears, berries, peaches, plums)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup all purpose flour (for topping)
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (for topping)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (for topping)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cubed (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine fruit, sugar, flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour fruit mixture into the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and salt for the topping.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over the fruit.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and fruit is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
