Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup all purpose flour (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (for topping)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cubed (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine fruit, sugar, flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Pour fruit mixture into the baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and salt for the topping.
  5. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle topping evenly over the fruit.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and fruit is bubbling.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
