- ½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ cup Brown Sugar (packed)
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- 2 large Eggs
- ½ cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ cup Hot Water
- ½ cup Chocolate Chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together gluten free flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Slowly pour in the hot water and mix until smooth.
- Stir in chocolate chips (if using).
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.
