- 1 pound sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer depending on your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing againt the grain.
- While the steak is resting, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Slice the steak thinly and add it to the salad. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Top with crumbled blue cheese, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
