Ingredients

- 1 pound spaghetti
- 2 large lemons, zest and juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- 1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
- 2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- 3. Add lemon zest and juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- 4. Add heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
- 5. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- 6. Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Use pasta water to thin sauce if needed.
- 7. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and Parmesan cheese.
