- 1 pound skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 medium sized flour or corn tortillas
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the seasoned salmon and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is cooking, warm the tortillas according to package instructions.
- Spread a layer of mashed avocado on each tortilla. Top with shredded red cabbage, cooked salmon, and chopped cilantro.
- Garnish with a squeeze of lime juice, a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt (if using), and a dash of hot sauce (if using). Serve immediately.
