  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 medium sized flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the seasoned salmon and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  3. While the salmon is cooking, warm the tortillas according to package instructions.
  4. Spread a layer of mashed avocado on each tortilla. Top with shredded red cabbage, cooked salmon, and chopped cilantro.
  5. Garnish with a squeeze of lime juice, a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt (if using), and a dash of hot sauce (if using). Serve immediately.
