Quick and easy skillet salmon wraps loaded with flavor. Tender salmon, fresh toppings, and warm tortillas make this a perfect weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 medium tortillas (flour or corn, your preference)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the salmon fillet dry and rub with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
  3. 3. Place the salmon in the skillet, skin side down if using skin on. Cook for 5 7 minutes, until the skin is crispy and golden.
  4. 4. Flip the salmon carefully and cook for another 3 5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  5. 5. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  6. 6. Spread a layer of sour cream or Greek yogurt on each tortilla.
  7. 7. Top with flaked salmon, cilantro, avocado slices, and red onion.
  8. 8. Squeeze a little lime juice over each wrap.
  9. 9. Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll up tightly.
  10. 10. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges.
