Description
Easy and flavorful skillet turkey tacos made with seasoned ground turkey, black beans, corn, and your favorite toppings. A quick and delicious weeknight meal.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 12 taco shells (corn or flour, your preference)
- Your favorite toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, lettuce, diced tomatoes, etc.
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the black beans, corn, and cilantro. Cook for another 2 minutes, until heated through.
- Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
- Fill each taco shell with the turkey mixture and your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.
