Quick and easy skillet turkey wraps packed with flavor! Ground turkey, veggies, cheese, and salsa all wrapped in crispy tortillas for a satisfying weeknight meal.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper (any color)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup cooked rice (optional, for added texture)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup salsa (your favorite kind)
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 6 large flour tortillas
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until softened (5 minutes).
- Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up, until browned. Drain any grease.
- Stir in garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne (optional), salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in rice (optional), cheddar cheese, salsa, and cilantro. Cook until cheese is melted and combined.
- Warm a skillet over medium heat. Spray/brush one side of each tortilla with cooking spray or oil.
- Place tortilla in the skillet, oiled side DOWN. Spoon 1/6 of filling onto the tortilla. Fold in sides, then roll tightly.
- Cook 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and serve hot!
